Filtered spam, but email and slack still notified

  • Used Zammad version: 6.0.0-1688419864.deb34e0b.focal
  • Used Zammad installation type: package,
  • Operating system: Ubuntu
  • Browser + version: Chrome latest

Expected behavior:

We are getting a lot of spam from a single (automatic) source that we cannot stop (customer system, admin away on vacation).

  • Setting a filter on the mail collection tool (in our case coming from a google account) to close tickets from a spam address prevents slack integration webhook and ticket notification emails from being sent

Actual behavior:

  • tickets are closed, but slack and email notifications are still sent.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Configure slack notification and email notification of new tickets.
  • Create filter on google inbound collector to change state to closed for messages that contain foo.com
  • Send ticket from foo.com to sstem
