Is there any way to limit the scope of the import from another helpdesk solution?

We are currently looking into Zammad as a potential replacement for a existing ticketing system and are interested in importing the tickets from the old system, however we don’t want to bring everything over.

The old system has data going back over a decade and we only really need to import the last 7 years or so (at most). What I’m wondering is there a way for us to scope the import of the tickets so that anything that’s in a closed state that’s older than a specific date will not be imported over?
