Zammad 6.3.1 outgoing mails ending up in clients SPAM folder

Infos:

  • Zammad Version: 6.3.1
  • Installation Type: Package
  • Operating System: Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
  • Browser + Version: Any browser (currently using Chrome, Version 126.0.6478.127)

Expected behavior:

  • Emails should arrive in the clients’ inbox folder and not in the spam folder.

Actual behavior:

  • Emails sent from Zammad are ending up in the clients’ spam folders.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • We updated Zammad to the new Security Update on Monday, July 15, and since then, we have encountered issues with the majority of outgoing emails from our team ending up in clients’ spam folders. We are using a Microsoft 365 account and have reauthenticated it, but the problem persists. This suggests that there might be a missing configuration. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
