How to (re)add a Microsoft 365 account that was previously deleted from Zammad

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.1.0-1697209221.bb96e260.focal
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …)
  • Operating system:
  • Browser + version:

Expected behavior:

  • I have deleted a Microsoft 365 user account from our Zammad instalation, but now we need to add it again. It should be possible to add it again.

Actual behavior:

  • Trying to add this account again, we are getting the following message:
    “422: The change you wanted was rejected.
    Duplicate email address or email alias ------@-----.eu found!”

How can we delete the email address from our installation, so we can add it again?
