Infos:
- Used Zammad version: 6.20
- Used Zammad installation type: Helm
- Operating system: Linux
- Browser + version: Firefox 122.0.1 (64-Bit)
Expected behavior:
If you receive an encrypted S/MIME email (aka sender encrypted it and zammad successfully decrypted it) I would expect to have an option to reply in an encrypted fashion without a manual cert import just like Thunderbird provides as a function. The cert of the other side is reasonably verified via the crypto itself at that point.
Actual behavior:
The button is greyed out since the cert is not imported
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Send an smime signed email to a user from zammad where the user/customer cert is not in the zammad system imported
- Reply as the customer with smime encryption and signing
- Try to reply from zammad to the customer’s encrypted reply
